An incline push-up involves the same important muscles and cues as a standard push-up. Place your hands flat on an incline surface such as a box or bench with your fingers pointing forward. Next, bend your arms to help you slowly lower your chest toward the box or bench. Then press up again. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
