Find your mental break
This October, we’re highlighting the importance of taking care of your mental health. At SATS, we believe in the power of checking in – with yourself, with those around you, and at SATS. Because we know that exercise is good for your mental health.
Take care of your mental health through exercise
Exercise is not just about building strength and endurance. It’s just as much an investment in your mental health. Physical activity releases endorphins, reduces stress, and improves sleep quality. It can be your daily mental break – a chance to reset your mind, boost your energy, and experience a sense of achievement.
Exercise strengthens mental health and reduces stress
When we asked 4,000 people across the Nordics about their training habits in our latest survey, the Healthier & Happier Report 2025, we found that 44 percent exercise specifically to improve their mental health.
The effects of exercise are well documented: 45 percent report increased happiness, 38 percent experience better sleep patterns, and many cite reduced stress as a direct result of regular training.
Check in with others
Good mental health is also about community. When you work out with friends, family, or colleagues, the experience becomes both more fun and more motivating. SATS is more than just a gym – it’s a social space where we cheer each other on, share moments, and build connections. That’s why you can bring a friend to train with you for free. Share your mental break with someone you care about! It might even be the start of a new, healthy routine together.
